What are Foundation Piles?
Date Added: January 24, 2009
Foundation piles, also known as "pelotes" in Davao, are the part of a structure used to carry and transfer the load of the structure
to the bearing ground located at some depth below ground surface. Piles are long and slender members
which transfer the load to deeper soil or rock of high bearing capacity avoiding shallow soil of
low bearing capacity. The main type of material Linmarr Towers used for these piles is concrete.
These piles will be hammered into the ground and connected to the structure of the condo building.
